With respect to others because I am a firm believer in live and let live, I don't support national womens day or month for the same reason I don't support black history month. These are all divisive as the there is no national men's month or day nor white history month or a month for history of every ethnicity. There is an international men's and women's day but I'm referring to within the US and AFAIK rhe US Gove has no mens day let alone month or Italian history month.

While sold as being for the promotion of a group be it based on sex ethnicity or sexual preference in the case of gay pride month ( when is heterosexual pride month ) they need to end as they are only contributing to the growing divisiveness between the various groups. Pre 2000 the GenX generation was the first and last generation to stop seeing skin color in general. You'll always have racists because human nature but we GenXers had turned things around with race relations and the the race grifters in the private amd the public sector started the fight back up. Today there's a war going on between young men and women because of what modern 3rd wave feminism has done. The last thing we need is assigning some pride or recognition to select groups only.

We'd be better of picking a day or a month to recognize special achievers from all groups and rotate annually the persons in it so that we're ensuring we remember our history without biasing particular groups as that reinforces tribalism. Granted this is just my humble opinion
