It's maddening and cruel that people in any kind of power over others have been tricked into imposing these coercive policies on their fellow man. That it persists in light of the mountains of evidence piling up (if only they would look at it) that these substances are not safe, effective nor necessary -- in fact, quite the opposite -- is dumbfounding.
As long as people are wielding power over others in this way, we are not a free people. They may perceive that they get to eat from the full buffet, while we have "chosen" to be restricted to the children's menu. And that that is entirely OUR choice and so they absolve themselves.
It’s maddening, but it’s their way of exerting power over certain kinds of thinking people. And that’s all. It has zero to do with safety and everyone knows it.
