I can answer this just from being an observer of social behavior. Those persons who are high in agreeableness. For those seeking social acceptance an echo chamber is like getting high. You've got many voices all in agreement making the individual voice feel that much more accepted; in the "right". Persons low in agreeableness are turned off by an echo chamber but that doesn't mean they always immune to one. It's easy to fall into one. Even those who are low in agreeableness enjoy hearing others say you're right or I agree with you. Where the 2 differ is with being able to handle confrontation and you guess where the line between those who are high in agreeableness and those who are not is drawn; XX/XY
