In Canada, it's the population that pushed the governments (feds and provinces) to lockdowns/mandates, every step of the way. In the US, I think the same can be said. Until March 2020, we were still running on recognised science, and Fauci still knew masks didn't work, he changed his position when the fear-mongered population pushed on politicians who pushed on him (not to excuse him in any way shape or form). The same way his "enough immunity" percentage kept getting pushed higher and higher as the population became more and more hysterical/demanding.
This is the definition of populism.
I remember back in the earliest days, somewhere around January or February, there were videos of people in China falling dead on the street. I've always thought those videos were absolute fakes, yet no one seems to have bothered to "fact check" those videos.
Ultimately, it's the Pfizer owned media that pushed the fear-mongering narrative. It was pushed because it creates profit. Those who want endless profits know which buttons to push in humans to cause Hysteria. No the hysteria was not "timed", but we KNOW that marketing and mind control works. People like to think we are free agents, but 99% of the population are not free thinkers.
