Michael Tracey was an agitator for Covid interventions, and a voice of panic, but now sees himself as an anti-lockdown hero
Michael Tracey was on the wrong side of Covid. He was part of the problem.
He appears to have at least partially woken up at some point, although I haven’t checked to see when that happened.
Now, I’m generally happy to have more people fighting for freedom.
But… if you’re the guy crying for everyone to throw rocks at Judy “the witch,” and then after a while decide maybe everyone should stop throwing rocks at Judy, then although I’m glad to have you help me block the rocks still being thrown at Judy, I might not want you as a my steadfast companion in the battle against witch stoning.
So, on a thread with Tracey on it being defensive about his early pro-lockdown role, I posted this, and you can see his reply.
This is now the witch stoner who, after saving Judy, asserts that, actually, he blocked more rocks being thrown at her than I did.
Here is my reply to him, in a long tweet:
Many folks have turned themselves around and done good after their having pushed in the wrong direction for the first months or often much longer.
We want all such direction changes to happen.
But that does not mean pretending the agitation in the wrong direction didn’t happen. And it’s exactly that — times millions within the collective hysteria — that caused this great Covid debacle.
Great democidal events tend to be done because of collective hysterias, and afterward somehow no one was responsible, and they instead scratch their head and look for some master planner demon who did it. In this case Schwab or Gates or China etc.
No. It was ultimately “us” who did this to us. A million people fanning the flames of panic, pushing for civil liberties violating interventions that MUST be done, snitching on rule breakers in the street, decrying anyone against the interventions or minimizing the risks of the disease as “deniers,” saying “fReEdUmB,” demanding everyone wear masks of allegiance, suspending all notions of informed consent, pushing for censorship of “misinformation,” and demanding the firing and banishment of the unvaccinated.
Those who pushed longer, those who had louder voices, and those who had greater leadership responsibility hold greater culpability.
And there are millions.
But we can’t look away and forget, although we can forgive. …IF folks recognize that they were part of the problem. It’s these psycho-societal forces that I am aiming to understand, and inhibit, with my research institute

The moral of the last three years is just how susceptible we all are to them. This isn’t just a problem for Germans, or the Chinese, or Muslims, or…
And what I cannot stand is watching folks not recognize how this actually happened. That includes the Plandemic-ers, and also those who pushed the wrong direction for some part of it but have no realization that THAT was the principal mechanism for how this happened, albeit for most their individual contribution was negligible.

Michael Tracey is now at the "we can live together" clip.
These are all short clips. Suggest watching them in order listed. This full episode (when available) demonstrates how it all happened, the pandemania, from beginning to end. Maybe that's why it's currently unavailable? It's human psychology, group dynamics, othering, etc. as Trey and Matt portrayed fifteen years before the pandemic. There's a Southpark for most every issue of our time!
As always, a cold, hard look at the truth. We deserve nothing less. Thank you!
