I am very grateful for your short videos on the emotional and human aspects of the lockdown and other restrictions, and what they mean. Not very many people have spoken on this topic, so your videos are very validating and help me remain relatively sane in this insane world.
I majored in human ecology, a major which my university cancelled the year after I graduated, which really offended me at the time. It is only in recent years that I am seeing how this fits into the larger picture. This area of study concerned the human's relationship to the environment: as observer, as actor/influencer, as experiencer. That last one is key: we are part of the environment - -a legitimate part. The WEF and others would have us believe we are parasites upon the earth and must learn to hate ourselves and one another, and embrace the cancellation of humans.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
As my major was cancelled so many years ago, so has the notion that humans are worthy creatures in and of ourselves.
We need to reclaim our rightful place as part of God's creation.
My wife has a degree in early childhood education (she's a teacher) and she embraced a role in education that very few could do and she did it well because she's just that kind of a woman; she handled special needs kids. Her classroom had kids with autism and other special needs. Not only did she teach them but after hours she also offered herself as a baby sitter for many parents of special need kids. It takes a HELL OF A WOMAN to do that IMHO. Part of the reason she did this was because she had good success with special need kids, they responded to her well.
I'm saying this so you'll appreciate her background when she says that the thing with hiding kids faces as having a harmful impact is very much true especially if its special need kids. Some of them rely heavily on the ability to read facial expressions and these damn masks screwed with those kids for 2 years. Every single elected and unelected actor of the state who pushed for mandatory masking over the long haul (ie not just for a few weeks but months and years) should be booted out and charged with criminals behavior but we all know nothing will be done because political crooks tend to get away with crimes.

Indeed. As an evolutionary guy, my whole approach is what is called an “ecological” one (lower case).
that perspective works for me, too.
Sure, but you gotta admit, some faces are more important than others...

God said, “Do not hide your face before me.” Plus, I don’t listen to crazy people who tell me to do something.
