And those axes are completely orthogonal, I've been convinced for years. Around 2001, if you breathed a word of doubt about the official 911 story, bogus though it was, the right-wing federal government was fierce in its assertion of authoritarian penalties and censorship.

Now, the COVID skeptics get censored by the left. So yes, I agree and have long been convinced that the true axis of political conflict is liberty v tyranny, and that left v right is merely a political football for purposes of distraction and confusion and to shift and re-align corrupt alliances as expedient for elites.

Yes correct the left v right paradigm is just to divide and conquer. The real divide is individualism v collectivism. Liberty v authoritarian.

The significant axis has always been Authoritarian vs Freedom. And it’s still the vast majority who don’t understand the distinction.
