Covid harms did not create many (if any) new advocates of freedom in general. Anyone who opposes covid mandates but remains in favor of other non-voluntary transgressions upon freedom is just another inconsistent supporter of government rule.

Yes correct the left v right paradigm is just to divide and conquer. The real divide is individualism v collectivism. Liberty v authoritarian.
The significant axis has always been Authoritarian vs Freedom. And it’s still the vast majority who don’t understand the distinction.
