I've been getting similar safety warnings from my browser, but I've also gotten it for the FreeX newsletter mailings for months. This isn't new for me at all.

What browser are you using? I've been using Brave for a long time now (love its native blocking of ads, especially YouTube ones), and I see no warnings. I also use a private Exchange box (No I'm not Hilliary Clinton) and the Outlook client. No warnings so far.

I read Substack on my MacBook and iPhone (i.e., no Microsoft) and although I have gmail for my email (I know, for shame!), so far I haven’t experienced this. It’s disturbingly predictable, though.

All my substack authors have that new warning all of a sudden. Govt and tech ramping up censorship!

I don't see anything like that, but I'm using Protonmail to get these emails rather than Outlook. Hopefully someone will come along with an answer.
