YouTube is allowing only asymptotic subscriber growth
…and asymptoting to just shy of monetization
Usually, as one’s following grows, the absolute number of new follows per unit time rises. …which is just to say that growth tends to be exponential.
But, for the last several months, after having two videos censored and given a strike, my absolute growth at YouTube has become even slower than in the first weeks of my series when I had little following on any social media.
That’s asymptotic growth!
And, they’re helpfully letting it asymptote to just shy of being monetizable.
Help get my voice out, where I believe it’s especially important to have people — their faces, emotions, personalities — out in front of this, not just text.
