Two years on, WHO realizes maybe it’s an aerosol
With fact checks like this, who needs misinformation?
I wonder if this March 2020 dangerously false claim by the WHO might be deemed misinformation and should — according to the mainstream narrative’s beliefs on misinformation — lead to the permanent suspension of the WHO from social media.
It was KNOWN long before 2020 that respiratory viruses are spread via smoke-like aerosols, which stay suspended for days, and go through and jet out the gaps of masks.
Aerosol experts — and a long history of grasping that respiratory viruses are spread significantly or entirely via smoke-like aerosols — were ignored, and instead the WHO for TWO YEARS insisted against all evidence that Covid is spread by macroscopic droplets and fomites (which masks actually WOULD stop).
This is the inept organization driving two years of worldwide civil rights violations.

Why is there an incessant bias to believe that Covid is spread via droplets?
Because it fits our innate biases toward infectious things.

By all means, then, let's give this pack of ignoramus worldwide control over every country and all of our lives in the event of another pandemic.. . Said no one ever. Please, write to your senators and congresspeople because that is exactly what the D.C. morons are fixing to do.
unfortunately, the point of the article seems to be : WHO by not getting this right made it harder to implement mask mandates...
"As a result, it didn’t emphasize early enough and clearly enough the importance of ventilation and indoor masking, key measures that can prevent airborne spread of the virus"
WHO's incompetence made other scientists incompetence more difficult... but they got there
