Why do those in the Covid Cult sound like this?

Let me preface my argument by saying that

(1) you don’t possess the needed qualifications

(2) The Science agrees with me

(3) you’re affiliated with people I detest, and

(4) your position is misinformation and I’ll immediately report you for any counterarguments you may reply with.

No doubt you’ve experienced this. Your friendly neighborhood Covid Cult member is totally open and willing to discuss it with you, and then says that above.

You’re not truly in a substantive argument about epidemiology or whatever when that happens. You’re standing in the crosshairs of cancellation.

You’re really in an argument about censorship and free expression.
