Why aren’t “Pro-Palestine” groups called “Pro-Islamic-Republic-of-Iran”?
Everyone talks about 10/7 as if it were about Palestine.
It wasn’t.
Iran’s mullahs planned, funded, armed, and greenlit the attacks via Hamas — just one node in its network of proxies (Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, PIJ, Shiite militias).
10/7 was part of Tehran’s regional strategy:
~ Surround Israel with hostile forces
~ Stretch its defenses across multiple fronts
~ Undermine Saudi–Israel normalization
~ Project power against the U.S. & Gulf rivals
The “75 years of oppression!” slogan exploded in the West by 10/8, erasing Iran from the story and recasting Hamas’s massacre as “spontaneous resistance.”
In reality, Gaza and Palestinians were pawns.
10/7 wasn’t centrally about Palestine. It was about the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ambitions.
But — funny thing — the Israel-hating Woke Left and Woke Right have somehow avoided calling themselves “Pro-Islamic-Republic-of-Iran.”
