Was Covid authoritarianism sufficiently “total” to count as a brush with totalitarianism?

Some say we didn’t experience totalitarian forces during Covid because it wasn’t sufficiently “total.”

Hmmm. They controlled…

- who can work

- who can travel

- where you can travel

- what you're allowed to say

- which businesses can stay open

- how many seats in your restaurant

- what you must wear over your face

- how many are allowed in your home

- how far apart you must be from others

- what medications your doctor is allowed to prescribe

- what medication you must take lest you're unable to participate in society or keep your job

Seems comprehensive to me.
