The White House has an opinion about who’s a good citizen, and who’s not.
I’m not saying anyone’s free speech should be violated, but if a certain company were to censor a certain person that’s totally cool with us and you’re all Fascists!
As we have been saying over at FreeX, the censorship we have been experiencing is not even by a private company. It is unabashedly top-down coordinated by the federal government.
Now the White House is “asking” that Spotify do more to control Joe Rogan.
“They’re only asking!” you say?
You’ll have to excuse our disbelief after two years of civil rights abuses by our government.
…and after Psaki threatened Big Tech with anti-trust complications.
[Biden] also supports better privacy protections and a robust anti-trust program. So, his view is that there’s more that needs to be done to ensure that this type of misinformation, disinformation, damaging, sometimes life-threatening information, is not going out to the American public.
How can anyone argue it's not a violation of your first amendment rights when the government threatens a public forum for allowing free speech? Lawyers out there? Wouldn't this be litigable? Sure it's a "private company," but clearly the government is involved here.
When politics continually interferes with public health, unintended consequences happen
