NY Times says “Ruling Puts Social Media at Crossroads of Disinformation and Free Speech”
NY Times is a clown show, packaging up the issue as free speech versus disinformation. No. It’s about free speech versus censorship of what one’s sociopolitical community BELIEVES is false.
For the last three years the censorial lockdowners defended Big Tech social media censorship by disingenuously saying “but they’re private companies.” (Which was a terrible argument as I discuss below…)
Now that a court put a temporary injunction on the Feds for censoring citizens via the arm of social media, the argument has changed to, “But the state really needs to stop the misinformation and disinformation of our political opposition, and so we simply HAVE to coordinate with Big Tech social media 🤷.

The battle has always been--and will ALWAYS be--the control freaks and their acolytes against the forces of freedom. No one, that is no one who can find his ass with both hands, should be surprised by the NYT supporting control. Orwell is on line one. He said, "told you so!"
