As if a lizard part of his brain woke up and said there's a kind of danger he's never encountered before. I think a lot of us felt that and we should've used those primal feelings to fight back instead of trying to use logic, it was like bringing a knife to a gun fight. I think part of the reason they got away wth it initially was because it was only suppposed to last a couple of weeks, then it was a fait accompli, no way back.
I'll never forgive them for what they did to my kids. Never. I'm not ashamed to admit we broke the rules to help our kids' mental health and arranged play dates with like minded parents. I'd do the same again and more, given my time over. For her to say "we didn't know" is nothing short of a lie - they had data from the Diamond Princess for a start, and in the UK the NHS was telling the govt 50% of the population already had immunity in March 2020. It was all unnecessary. And utterly unethical to boot.
There will be no accountability. How many people involved in the 2008 mortgage crash/bailout went to jail? One mid-level exec went to jail while the rest not only were not held accountable for their actions but our government bailed their asses out. They were able to wipe their debt clean and to top it off those fat bastards wrote themselves huge bonuses from the federal bailout. There is also the risk of exposure, exposure of the real power brokers who work in the shadows people like Klaus Schwab. Schwab openly brags about the power/influence he and his World Economic Forum hold over many nations leaders but he’s not alone. There are others who are not into being in the public spotlight and they know that should any politician or bureaucrat be charged and investigated there is a high risk of them cutting a deal by dropping names.
If the people who caused a multi-trillion dollar crash to the economy and destroyed the housing market weren’t held to accountability why would we believe it would be different with our elected leaders and the bureaucrats that run everything? At best we may see a low level politician/bureaucrat get tossed under the bus but that’s it. The only way things will change, that those in elected office will be held accountable when they do shift like this is by purging the existing body of Congress with new people where more than half are not wealthy and are not politically connected. Congress is not representative of America but of the %1 with a handful of exceptions tossed in so they can say “see not everyone in Congress is a millionaire”. With the Senate being just 100 it’s fairly easy to ensure most if not every one of them is an establishment controlled hack or a self-serving crook wiling to do what he/she is paid to do. With the house there are so many persons that it’s hard to ensure every seat is populated with an establishment controlled politician which is why the House is where you will see people who are more representative of the average American, non-millionaires who actually have to budget their finances.
I don’t like being a pessimist about this but until we do a purge of Congress those behind the scenes with money will continue to control the majority of our elected leaders and the bureaucrats in the system.
the bottom line is- even if the virus had a 50% IFR and an R-0 of 30, even if the vaccines were 100% effective and sterilizing and 100% safe, mandates still VIOLATE THE CONSTITUTION and if i don't want to take the shot, that does not effect my job, my rights of citizenship.
