People have short memories! I bet June really doesn't remember how rabid she was about the importance of locking people in their houses to save lives. She probably panicked in 2020 then gradually realised she hadn't died so forgot she had panicked. I despair of humanity because people never learn, they simply forget. They also always cast themselves as the hero of their world - June presumably believes she acted heroically throughout the whole last four years and saw everyone else as behaving appallingly!

It’s also about integrity—people should be open about what they wish they’d done differently.
