Iranians on the Altar of Hatred
Israel- and Jew-haters on both the far Left and the far Right are willing to sacrifice the Iranian people on the altar of their hatred. In their moral universe, the Islamic Republic is redeemed not by how it treats its own citizens, but by whom it attacks. Every rocket fired at Israel becomes a kind of absolution. Every act of internal repression is washed clean by external aggression against Jews.
This is how ideological idol worship works. A regime that would otherwise be recognized as a brutal theocracy — one that beats women for their hair, jails teenagers, and executes dissenters — is granted moral immunity because it feeds the one god these movements truly serve: hostility toward Israel. Iranian lives become expendable offerings, thrown into the fire so that the hatred can keep burning brightly.
The tragedy is that this sacrifice is imposed not by the Iranian people, but upon them. They are forced to pay the blood price for someone else’s obsession — treated as collateral in a ritual where their suffering is not only ignored, but silently required.
