Like clockwork, they began the interventions and immediately the excess deaths exploded in early 2020.
Their ability to see that the virus was coming and get those interventions up and running just in time — so much so that one might be confused into thinking that the interventions themselves caused the excess deaths — is otherworldly.
Hats off to our public health officials. 👏
Here is a piece by John Pospichal that I had seen at the time — in late May of 2020 — and it was among the earlier arguments that the excess deaths were iatrogenic, i.e., human-induced.
See this never-ending thread on the evidence for “hysteria deaths,” as I call them.
Certainly they caused a lot of deaths, e.g. by sending sick elderly back to their nursing homes, or by unnecessarily putting people on ventilators, or by failing to prescribe antibiotics.

anyone who actually had covid and survived their hospital stay was either very strong or just plain lucky. columbia presbyterian in NYC murdered my best friend. she had oxygen tanks at home which would have helped her breathe until she could recover. they put her on a vent and took a corpse off two weeks later.
