First Amendment violations by the Biden administration are finally being covered by mainstream media
Censorship is getting uncensored
The Biden administration’s dystopian violations of the First Amendment (something I have been alerting you to for more than 1.5 years, ) are finally being covered in mainstream circles.
A bombshell piece appeared on Halloween in the Left-leaning outfit, “The Intercept,” documenting the wide range of ways in which there is direct coordination between the federal government and Big Tech social media to control the narrative.
“There is… a formalized process for government officials to directly flag content on Facebook or Instagram and request that it be throttled or suppressed through a special Facebook portal that requires a government or law enforcement email to use. At the time of writing, the “content request system” at facebook.com/xtakedowns/login is still live. DHS and Meta, the parent company of Facebook, did not respond to a request for comment. The FBI declined to comment.”
A few days later, The New York Times touched upon the scale of the censorship, and how, historically, the Left would have been aghast at it.
“The Department of Homeland Security’s disinformation wars, its attempted hand-in-glove with the great powers of Silicon Valley, would have been regarded as a dystopian scenario on [the Left] not so long ago. So is it really any less dystopian if the targets are Trumpistas and Anthony Fauci critics instead of Iraq War protesters?”
Much of the new evidence emanates from a 1A lawsuit by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, which came after and was highly informed by my “Changizi versus the Department of Health and Human Services” lawsuit with fellow litigants Daniel Kotzin and Michael Senger, with attorney Jenin Younes of the New Civil Liberties Alliance, which was initially dismissed (more coming).
I didn't know the NYT picked up the intercept piece. Looks like they've been driven to trying to look like a real newspaper. :)
Thanks for your work Mark.
