I already knew before covid that most people aren't very principled, but I had no idea how truly bad it is. "Morality police and government censorship are good, actually,' when they're censoring and policing things I don't like. Morality police and government censorship are VERY BAD, when they're policing things I like," is not just the mindset of a few fringe radicals, but seems to be the default position of most people.
We also learned what happens when you recklessly peddle nonsense about mass graves in order to score political and virtue signaling points.
