The implication here is that, because the Left has engaged in banana republic lawfare against Trump, the Right should too.
That is NOT how you win. That is how you become evil, like them.
Being good is hard. Leading is hard because you must adhere to your own principles. And you don’t win unless you lead culture to accept those principles. Violating them to “win” means the culture has failed to learn anything except will to power.
The most important lesson of politics. Moment 453
Don’t forget how Cernovich was a lockdowner until he wasn’t.
Nope. Not this time. I've been happy to watch you call Cerno and others to account for authoritarian impurity during even early COVID. And "fog of war" was no excuse. But here he's not approving banana republicanism. Trump ran on draining the swamp, but then, like Alex Berenson, appealed for establishment approval and something stupid called "bipartisanship". It's like Marco Rubio today saying the answer is to work with Democrats! He let Hillary and Comey off the hook immediately and has paid for that ever since. Prosecuting the people who faked the Russia Collusion Hoax is seriously needed justice, not equivalent to manufacturing felonies from an ancient misdemeanour that itself depends on liars like Cohen. But now that a president is deemed fair game, Obama and Biden crimes should not continue to be passed over.
It’s a strange yearning for top-down power, isn’t it?
