Yep, outside the walls of control is where life and freedom are. Within those walls there might be the illusions of Comfort, Convenience and Entertainment, but the cost is...well your life and agency.
Never turn your backs on those who called for your annihilations. They're like dogs who killed a chicken and now have a taste for their blood. No matter how much training you give them or how rehabilitated they seem, as soon as the opportunity comes, they happily kill as many as they can again.
Very true, but many will never realize it. The catastrophism is their new drug of choice and anyone who can’t see the fatal danger in a sneeze or cough are the enemy, by default.
But it’s all good, so long as the regime provides them an endless supply of netflix, doordash, sports, taylor grift and the like - life within the walls is utopia.
“A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying, 'You are mad; you are not like us.”
― St. Antony the Great
We were banished beyond the wall and I like it over here...on the outside....great post.
