Sadly, the last paragraph shows the true colours. The only acceptable result is convincing the 'skeptics' to be vaccinated regardless of the reasons and objections to it. Nothing changes just a more sophisticated attack.

That's because it wouldn't be published without that. The same thing is happening with "scientific" studies--the authors are being forced to add paragraphs like this before they are accepted for publication.

Well, at least they are arguing for persuasion over coercion. I’ll never get that poison and I think most people whom have held out this long will not either. They know and are trying to switch tactics to that of good cop.

Yes, it struck me as possibly like a 16th-century scientist having to profess belief in God before coming out with something awkward for the church.
