A building size and distance illusion, probably due to how much of the window it appears to fill.

And here’s the two key views side by side (with the mirror shot horizontally flipped). Not quite getting at the perceived disparity in distance and size when actually here.

Perhaps keeps the number of lizards down, though. :).
